Volunteer Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate volunteer to join our team as the Program Manager for the "Let's Build!" initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a meaningful program that impacts community development and nutrition in Myanmar.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the "Let's Build!" program, ensuring it aligns with NutriSST’s mission and goals.
Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve program objectives, focusing on empowering women, improving nutritional outcomes, and promoting health activities.
Community Engagement: Work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
Project Management: Oversee project activities, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Help develop and implement frameworks to measure program impact and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements for stakeholders and funders.
Capacity Building: Train and mentor program staff and community members to build local capacity and ensure long-term sustainability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Agriculture, Development Studies, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in program management, community development, public health, or nutrition is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of local languages is an asset.
